Community Guidelines

Effective Date: April 28, 2025

Welcome to the ToadVille Bay community! To ensure a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for everyone, we ask all members to follow these guidelines. By participating in our community, you agree to abide by these rules and help foster a positive space for all.

1. Be Respectful and Inclusive

At ToadVille Bay, we strive with respect, and we expect everyone to treat others. We expect our users to:

• Treat all members with kindness, respect, and empathy, regardless of background, identity, or beliefs.
• No harassment, bullying, hate speech, personal attacks, or discrimination of any kind will be tolerated.

2. Maintain a Safe Environment

ToadVille Bay is suppose to be a safe enviroment, so we expect for users information to be kept private unless they disclose their information on their own terms, otherwise do not:

• Never share your own or others’ personal information (addresses, phone numbers, private messages, etc.) publicly or without consent.
• Do not engage in doxxing, stalking, or threatening behavior.
• Report any suspicious, harmful, or inappropriate behavior to moderators or site administrators immediately.
• Do not impersonate other users, staff, or public figures.

3. Keep Content Appropriate

• Do not post or share content that is illegal, explicit, violent, graphic, or otherwise inappropriate for a general audience.
• No spam, flooding, chain letters, or pyramid schemes.
• Advertising, solicitation, or self-promotion is not allowed without prior approval from moderators.
• Respect copyright, trademarks, and intellectual property rights. Only share content you have the right to share.
• Do not post misleading, false, or intentionally deceptive information.

4. Foster Constructive and Civil Discussion

• Engage in meaningful, constructive conversations. Critique ideas, not individuals.
• Disagreements are natural, but keep discussions civil and focused on ideas rather than personal attacks.
• No trolling, flame wars, baiting, or intentionally disruptive behavior.
• Do not use anything to interfere with user experiences, this involves crashing user clients (Head Admin included as the crash command is banned)
• Be open to feedback and willing to learn from others.

5. Protect Minors and Vulnerable Groups

At ToadVille Bay, we would like to have a safe platform, which is why we have an age requirements, users who sign up must be at least of 13 years of age, or 16 years of age to use TonnectDB (requirements may vary by country), if caught underaged, the user will be banned. Any content that might be harmful to minors will be reported to the law.

• Content or behavior that exploits, endangers, or targets minors or vulnerable individuals is strictly prohibited.
• Report any suspected abuse or exploitation to moderators immediately.

6. Follow the Law and Platform Rules

ToadVille Bay keep things legal, and we want our platform to have no illegal activites.

• Do not use the community to engage in or promote illegal activities, including but not limited to hacking, piracy, or drug-related content.
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and platform-specific rules.
• Do not use any unauthorized ToadVille Bay Media, this includes pirated copies of games and other software (i.e. Cracked Versions)

7. Respect Moderators and Staff

• Follow instructions from moderators and site administrators.
• Do not argue with or harass moderators. If you disagree with a moderation decision, appeal respectfully and privately.
• Repeated or severe violations may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from the community.

8. Reporting and Enforcement

• If you witness or experience violations of these guidelines, report them to moderators or administrators.
• All reports are taken seriously and investigated confidentially.
• Enforcement actions are at the discretion of the moderation team and may include warnings, content removal, temporary bans, or permanent bans.

9. Help Us Improve

• We welcome feedback and suggestions to make our community better. Please reach out through the contact page with your ideas or concerns.
• These guidelines may be updated periodically. Please review them regularly to stay informed.

10. Consequences of Violations

• Violations of these guidelines may result in warnings, content removal, temporary or permanent bans, and, if necessary, reporting to appropriate authorities.
• We reserve the right to remove any content or user that undermines the safety or integrity of the community.
